What are dentures?
Dentures are artificial replacements for missing teeth, which are removable. They can be complete, partial or overdentures.

What are complete dentures?
Complete dentures replace all of the natural teeth in the upper or lower jaw, or both, sitting on the soft (gum) tissue of the mouth that covers the bone ridge. They are made from acrylic resin and mimic the color and appearance of your natural teeth. A unique impression of your teeth, bite, and the shape of your jaw shape will be used to create the dentures.

What are removable partial dentures?
Partial dentures are removable devices that replace a few missing teeth, instead of all the teeth on the jaw.

What is an overdenture?
A removable denture fits over a small number of remaining natural teeth or implants. The natural teeth must be prepared to provide stability and support for the denture. A dentist can determine if an overdenture would be suitable for you.
